Packing
Develop a packing method that ensures your boxes are delivered to their appropriate rooms in your new residence. One possible approach is to color-coordinate your boxes with the room colors or label each box with the name of the room and put up corresponding signs on the doors.
- Use doonas, quilts, and blankets to wrap artwork or larger items.
- Instead of wrapping each plate individually, place a paper plate between each ceramic plate to save time.
- Keep clothes on hangers and wrap them with a bin liner for easy transport. You can then hang them straight in the wardrobe at your new home.
- Sort the contents of each drawer into individual bags, label them, and return them to their respective drawers. This is especially helpful for office drawers.
- Easily locate your sheet sets by folding and storing them in their corresponding pillowcase.

Unpacking
- To ensure a hassle-free setup of your electronics in your new home, take photos of how the cables are connected.
- When taking apart items that require screws, store the screws in a zip lock bag and attach it to the corresponding furniture using tape.
